Account Deletion Overview

If you wish to permanently delete your Sadakasur account and all associated data, this page provides you with the necessary information and options to do so.

What Will Be Deleted

Your account credentials and profile information
Email address and phone number
All uploaded reports and media files
Location history and activity logs
Preferences and settings
Notification subscriptions

⚠️ Important Warning

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted:

You will not be able to recover any of your data
All your reports and contributions will be permanently removed
You will not have access to your account history
Any in-app credits or rewards will be forfeited

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete Through the App (Recommended)

Open the Sadakasur app on your device
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
Read the warning and tap Continue
Enter your password to confirm
Tap Permanently Delete My Account
Your account will be deleted within 24 hours

Option 2: Email Request

You can also submit a deletion request via email. Send an email to:

What Happens After Deletion

Immediate (0-1 hour): Your account access is revoked immediately. You can no longer log in.
Within 24 hours: Your personal data is marked for deletion from our primary database.
Within 7 days: Your data is purged from our backup systems.
Within 30 days: Your data is completely removed from all secondary systems and partners.

Under GDPR, you have the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"). We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days of your request.

CCPA (California)

Under CCPA, you have the right to delete personal information. We will process your deletion request within 45 days.
